Obituary for Charles "Chuck" Pitzer

Mr. Charles Bradley “Chuck” Pitzer, age 57, a resident of Mud Gut Road, Belington departed this life Monday February 12, 2018 at his residence. Death was following a period of declining health.

He was born April 5, 1960, in Grafton, a son of the late George Douglas and Nellie Rowena Hill Pitzer. He had never married.

He is survived by his loving companion; Carol Moore of Belington, one daughter; Brandy Dawn Pitzer of Belington, three brothers; Paul Wayne Pitzer and wife April of Hampton, VA, Sherman Pitzer and companion Jessie Shahan of Belington, Mike Pitzer and wife Susan of Bluefield, VA, one sister; Judy Smith of Morgantown, five grandchildren; Taylor, Trenton, Derrick, & Charlie Chevalier, and Livinnea Moore, Additional survivors include several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother; Gary Pitzer, and one
special niece; Kelly Pitzer.

Chuck was a graduate of the Philip Barbour High School and was previously employed by Dave’s Plumbing and Heating where he had his HVAC license and worked in service installation and was the head technician before becoming disabled. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors and enjoyed being on his fishing boat. He loved to ride his motorcycle and enjoyed doing auto body restoration. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Friends will be received from the Talbott Funeral Home 56 North Brandenburg Street in Belington from 5 – 9 pm on Wednesday February 14, 2018. At the request of the deceased his remains will be cremated. Interment of his cremains will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society P.O. Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK 73123. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.talbottfuneralhome.com. The Talbott Funeral Home in Belington is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Charles Bradley “Chuck” Pitzer.
