Mr. Michael W. Talbott is the Owner and Licensed Funeral Director of the Talbott Funeral Home. Mr. Talbott is a native of Belington, WV, and is a 1990 graduate of Philip Barbour High School. He attended Potomac State College in Keyser, WV, and Fairmont State College in Fairmont, WV. Mr. Talbott is also a graduate of The Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. Mr. Talbott is very involved in the Belington community. He served on the Board of Directors at the Belington Medical Clinic, is Past President and Secretary of the Belington Kiwanis Club, and is also a member of the Barbour County Chamber of Commerce. He is a long time member of the Asbury United Methodist Church, where he has served on various committees, and presently serves as Lay Speaker for the Congregation. He is a former member of the Freedom Bank Board where he served for nine years and presently is very active with The Junior Lions Club. Mr. Talbott has a wife, Charlene, daughter Taylor and her husband Elijah Matlick , daughter Lillie Faye who still resides at home, and two grandsons, Jackson and Dawson Matlick.

Dorsey Talbott, Attendant

Mr. Dorsey Talbott is the father of Michael W. Talbott. Mr. Talbott joined the funeral home as a attendant following his retirement. He has lived in Barbour County all of his life. Mr. Talbott is a member of the Junior Lions Club and served as a past president of the Belington Kiwanis Club 1979 – 1980. Dorsey has been married to Jeanie (Poling) Talbott for over 50 years.

Jimmie E Tallman, attendant

Mr. Jimmie E. Tallman is the Funeral Service Attendant of the Talbott Funeral Home. Mr. Tallman joined the funeral home staff in 1997, and assists in funeral services. He is also the Pastor at the Light of Christ Chapel here in Belington. He also volunteers in a lot of community activities. Mr. Tallman is married to Mrs. Sheila Tallman.

Marshal Reed, attendant

Mr. Marshall Reed started at the Talbott Funeral Home in March 2008 as a funeral home attendant. He is a retired coal miner and has lived in Belington for 23 years. Marshall has served on the Belington City Council for 6 years, serves on the BCVD, the Barbour County Economic Development Board and is a hospice volunteer. Marshall has been on the Barbour County Fair Board and is a charter member of the Junior Lions Club for 27 years, having served on local, state and international club levels. He is past District Governor of WV District 291. Marshall is the proud father of three sons, one daughter and a proud grandfather of eight. Marshall is happily married to Dianne.

Kim Coffman is the secretary of the Talbott Funeral Home . Mrs Coffman joined the funeral home in August of 2014, and is a 1995 graduate of Independence High School in Coal City, WV. She has lived in Belington since 2001with her husband Jeff Coffman and their two daughters; Samaria and Grace Coffman. Kim was previously the cheerleading coach with the Barbour County American Youth Football organization (BCAYF) for four years. She enjoys volunteering for the schools and the in community.
